CONTRYSIDE AND SPORTS

Countryside :

The surrounding countryside has open space for cultivation, fields enclosed by hedges for stock production and woods.

There is abundant flora and fauna.
Of note is the little yellow-bellied toad, a rare, protected species found in moist areas.

Wild orchids can be seen and they are protected. However other flowers (lily of the valley, daffodils, cowslips, marguerites…) flourish and can be picked for a bouquet.
